New Delhi, Aug. 1: Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have reduced the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹192, bringing major relief to businesses across the country.Following the latest revision, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has come down to ₹2,738, compared to the earlier price of ₹2,930.
Similar price cuts have also been announced in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Patna, and several other cities.The reduction is expected to benefit hotels, restaurants, roadside food stalls, catering services, tea shops, and other small businesses that rely heavily on commercial LPG for daily operations. The lower fuel cost may also help reduce operating expenses for many traders.
However, there is no change in the price of the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder, which is used by households. Consumers using domestic LPG will continue to pay the existing rates.The revised commercial LPG prices came into effect from August 1.
