Chandigarh, September 30: The Punjab government has urged the Centre to ensure timely availability of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) and urea in the state ahead of the Rabi sowing season.
The state government has raised the issue of fertiliser supply to ensure that farmers have access to Punjab Seeks Timely Supply of DAP and Urea for Rabi Season required quantities during the sowing period. Officials have been asked to coordinate with the concerned agencies to monitor availability and distribution across Punjab.
The government said timely supply of fertilisers is necessary to avoid disruptions during the Rabi season and ensure that farmers receive the required inputs within the prescribed schedule.
