THE HAGUE, May 17: Narendra Modi on Saturday invited Dutch companies to design, innovate and manufacture in India during a high-level CEO Roundtable in The Hague, highlighting the country’s cost-effective manufacturing ecosystem and business-friendly reforms.

Addressing top industry leaders, the Prime Minister said India is emerging as a major global hub for manufacturing and innovation, supported by a skilled workforce, expanding infrastructure and government incentives aimed at boosting production and foreign investment.

Modi also underlined the growing strategic economic partnership between India and the Netherlands, with both countries focusing on cooperation in technology, semiconductors, green hydrogen, clean energy and innovation-driven sectors.

The discussions at the roundtable centred on strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties, while exploring new avenues for collaboration in advanced manufacturing, renewable energy and resilient supply chains.
