Gurez, August 27: Mission Director HADP interacted with farmers of the border village of Tarbal in Dawar Zone and listened to their demands related to agriculture and livelihood activities under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).

The farmers requested support for various farm machinery and livelihood units, including power tillers, brush cutters, low-cost polyhouses, wooden bamboo structures and beekeeping units.

The Mission Director assured the farmers that their genuine demands would be taken up under the HADP framework. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that eligible and needy farmers are registered immediately.

He further instructed that a detailed action plan for the border villages of Chourban, Kilshey and Tarbal be prepared and submitted within three days positively.

The initiative is expected to provide better agricultural support to farmers living in the remote border areas of Gurez and help strengthen their livelihoods.
