New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a high-level meeting in New Delhi today to review security arrangements and preparedness for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.
The meeting will be attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief of Army Staff Upendra Dwivedi, CRPF Director General Gyanendra Pratap Singh and other senior officials.
During the meeting, officials will discuss security measures, route arrangements, logistics and coordination between various agencies to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage for devotees.
The annual yatra is expected to witness a large number of pilgrims, with security agencies making detailed plans to provide adequate protection and necessary facilities along the pilgrimage routes.
