New Delhi, September 5: The Miss World 2026 finale will be held in Vietnam today, with 111 contestants competing for the title.

Representing India at the pageant is Nikita Porwal, who won the Femina Miss India World title in 2024. The finale will be streamed live on JioHotstar from 5:30 pm IST.

Miss World 2025 winner Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event. The Miss World Organisation announced on March 25, 2026, that Vietnam would host the 73rd edition of the pageant.

Porwal, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, began her career as a television anchor before working in theatre. She travelled to Vietnam earlier this month to prepare for the international competition and has represented India at various events and appearances.

At the Miss World Dances of the World event, Porwal appeared in a black-and-gold ensemble with traditional jewellery and a long braid decorated with gold ornaments.

Among the contestants competing alongside Porwal are Olivija Sponovskis of Australia, Samanzar Sayeed of Bangladesh, Gabriela Botelho of Brazil, Indira Ampiot of France, Audrey Bianca Callista of Indonesia, Yui Kawana of Japan, Taanusiya Chetty of Malaysia, Luna Luitel of Nepal, Asia Rose Simpson of the Philippines and Grace Richardson of England.

India last won the Miss World title in 2017, when Manushi Chhillar was crowned. The finale will be streamed live exclusively on JioHotstar on September 5 from 5:30 pm onwards.
