New Delhi, June 10: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister, calling it a landmark moment in the nation’s democratic journey

.In his message, Radhakrishnan said the achievement reflects the trust and confidence reposed in Modi by the people of India. He praised the Prime Minister’s leadership in driving governance reforms, boosting economic growth, promoting inclusive development, and enhancing India’s global standing.

Modi crossed the historic milestone on June 10 after completing 4,399 consecutive days in office since first taking oath on May 26, 2014. With this, he surpassed the uninterrupted elected tenure record held by Jawaharlal Nehru and became the longest continuously serving elected head of government in independent India.

The achievement has drawn congratulations from political leaders and well-wishers in India and across the world, highlighting Modi’s long tenure and his role in shaping the country’s development over the past decade.
