Srinagar, Kashmir, July 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Employees Social Welfare Association (JKESWA), under the leadership of its President and Renowned Social Worker, Ms. Asiya Iqbal, has expressed profound grief and concern over the tragic death of a woman in the Waliwar area of Ganderbal district.

JKESWA extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prays for eternal peace to the departed soul. The Association stands in solidarity with the family during this difficult time.

While the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, JKESWA urges the concerned authorities to conduct a fair, transparent, impartial, and time-bound investigation so that the truth is established without delay. If any individual is found responsible after due legal process, strict action must be taken in accordance with the law.

President and Renowned Social Worker Ms. Asiya Iqbal stated:”Every woman has the right to live with dignity, safety, and respect. Any unnatural death involving a woman deserves a thorough and unbiased investigation. Justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done. We urge the authorities to ensure that no guilty person escapes accountability, while the investigation proceeds strictly on evidence and the rule of law.”

JKESWA also appeals to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information or speculation that could hamper the ongoing investigation. The Association reiterates its commitment to supporting justice, protecting the rights of women, and strengthening public confidence in the legal process.
