Bandipora, May 18:In a major initiative aimed at combating drug abuse and promoting a healthier society, 27 Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Defence Labour Procurement Office Bandipora and the Education Department, successfully organized a “Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan” awareness programme at Putushy Cricket Stadium, Bandipora.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, school representatives, and local stakeholders, all coming together to spread the message of a drug-free future. The programme focused on educating the youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse and inspiring them to become agents of positive change within society.
Participants actively engaged in the campaign and pledged to stand united against the menace of drugs. The initiative highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in safeguarding the younger generation and building a safer, healthier community.Special appreciation was extended to all participating schools, students, and staff members for their active involvement and commitment towards the noble cause.
The organisers expressed gratitude to the Commandant, 27 Assam Rifles, for his visionary leadership and support, while the ‘D’ Coy Commander of Kaloosa Company was appreciated for effective coordination and execution of the event.
